Wendell “Carter” Jones was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, where he still resides. As a Writer and Content Coordinator at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Carter thrives in creating digital narratives that resonate across multiple platforms. His role combines crafting email, print, and web content with coordinating communication efforts that enhance university engagement and storytelling, particularly in connecting with and attracting prospective students.
Carter graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Digital Storytelling, grounding his expertise in shaping creative stories that inspire. He is proficient in programs like Adobe Creative Suite (including After Effects, Audition, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro), Maya, Final Draft, and DaVinci Resolve. Carter’s passion spans all forms of storytelling—from writing and film to animation and music. Committed to growth and creativity, he aspires to release his own short films one day.
